It's a funny thing, this life. We go through it thinking we're just one person, but really, we're a mosaic of all the people we've ever known. Every little interaction, every brief encounter, they all leave their mark on us. And you know what? That's fascinating. I challenge you to scour your memory for every last mark your favorite people have engraved upon you - the kind that make you feel like a million bucks, the kind that keep you flying high when the chips are down.
Anyways, thanks for the chat. I’ve got some photos to take.

The day had drawn to a close, and I found myself seeking solace in the most unlikely of places - a dingy Waffle House on the outskirts of town. One waffle and a cup of joe, that's all I could stomach at that moment. My original intent was to take pictures, but my attention was soon diverted by the soulful tunes emanating from the jukebox. The waitress had a knack for picking just the right songs to suit the somber mood of the night. As I sat there, it was just her and me in that empty diner, and she kept up a steady stream of conversation while she prepared my meal. She probed me with every question under the sun, and I couldn't help but be drawn in by her charisma. When she finally handed me the plate, she fixed me with a knowing look and said, "Do you need anything else, Don't lie to me, baby." Her boldness took me aback, but I assured her that I was in good hands. She then stepped out for a smoke break, leaving me to my thoughts in the quiet of that small Waffle House.
Catch ya next time.

Life has been busy! In just two months and two weeks, I'll proudly graduate from the renowned Langston University—the sole HBCU in Oklahoma. "Grateful" feels like an understatement. I have so much planned in such a short time span and I can’t wait to share.
Stay black.
